    ๐Ÿ”„ Cycles

Cycles represent time-bound planning periods (e.g., quarterly, annual) that structure how V2MOMs are created, managed, and reported on.

    Cycle Status

Each cycle moves through defined statuses to control visibility and activity:

    • Created: Preparation phase. Cycle is not visible to users. V2MOMs cannot be added yet.
    • Open: Cycle is ready for planning. Users can create and edit V2MOMs, but no check-ins or reporting are allowed.
    • Active: Cycle is live. Check-ins and reporting are enabled.
    • Closed: The cycle has ended. No new V2MOMs or check-ins are allowed.
    • Archived: The cycle is stored for historical reference only.

*Only one cycle can be Active at a time. Activating a new cycle will automatically deactivate the current one.

    Key Settings

    • Each cycle has a start date and a defined duration (in months).
    • Cycles are broken down into periods (e.g., quarters or months) to support structured reporting.
    • Check-in reminders (e.g., every 4 weeks).
    • Weightings (to give different importance to methods and measures, or treat all equally).

    โœ๏ธ V2MOMs

Each team member creates and owns a V2MOM that aligns with the company. Every V2MOM has Vision, Values, Methods, Obstacles, and Measures.

V2MOM's progress is tracked via Methods. Measures make up the progress of Methods. Not all Methods & Measures are equal so they have Weighting to reflect that.

When creating a V2MOM all methods need to equal a wieghting of 100%. All supporting Measures for a Method need to equal a weighting of 100%.

    ๐Ÿ” Workflows

    • Team members "Request Approval" from their assigned manager before they are allowed to Publish their V2MOM
    • Managers can review and provide feedback
    • V2MOMs do not show in Reporting until they are PUBLISHED

    โœ๏ธ Unpublish for Changes

If you need to make updates:
